Cominciare il lavoro con 4 catenelle, congiungere con una maglia bassissima alla prima catenella in modo da formare un anello.
1. 1 catenella, puntando l'uncinetto nell'anello, 11 maglia altissime, 1 maglia bassissima nella terza catenella iniziale, chiudere.

of initial chain 3 (12 stitches/spokes in the wheel). Fasten off.
2. Cambiare colore, 4 catenelle, saltare una maglia, 1 maglia alta nella catenella successiva, 1 maglia alta. *3 catenelle, saltare una maglia di base, 1 maglia alta nella maglia successiva*, ripetere da * a * fino a completamento del giro. Maglia bassissima per congiungersi alla maglia iniziale.

working out of the stitches in this round. Join in a new colour (make a
tight knot to the old colour and pull the new colour through a stitch
to the front).
Chain 4 (counts as chain 3, plus 1 dc), miss a stitch, then make 1 dc into next stitch.

4. Cambiare colore. Lavorare puntando l'uncinetto nei punti del primo giro lasciati liberi.
Puntare l'uncinetto come in figura ed eseguire nella stessa maglia *maglia bassa, mezza maglia alta, maglia alta, mezza maglia alta, maglia bassa*, ripetere da * a * per altre 5 volte creando un altro giro di petali all'interno di quello fatto precedentemente. Congiungersi alla prima maglia con una maglia bassissima, chiudere.
Round 4 :: change color. You are working out of the missed stitches from the first round (see above pic)
With yarn held at the front of the flower, pull a loop through any central "missed stitch" from the first round (as above)
For each small petal, work out of the missed stitch as follows::
*dc, htr, tr, htr, dc*.
Repeat between **,
five more times, working your way round the flower and creating each
small petal out of the central "missed stitches" of the first round.
Join to first sc with sl st.

Chain 1, and turn. Row 1 should like like half a leaf, as in above pic.

Infilare il filo lasciato lungo inizialmente sotto le maglie centrali aiutandosi con un ago per lana. (vedi figura)

Using a darning needle, thread the tail end down through the centre of the leaf (as above). You can use the yarn from the beginning of the leaf to stitch it to the back of the flower, or wherever you want the leaf to be.
